First of all, I want to thank each and everyone of you who signed up to join my email list. WELCOME!
I can hardly believe this has finally manifested into something I know my mom is proud of. I am so glad you’re here! I wanted to start this blog off with a brief introduction.
I will no longer post long blogs on Instagram as it’s not tailored for bloggers. Many of my post have been pretty lengthy as you’ve all seen and unfortunately, informational posts do not get as much attention or feedback as much as video hair posts, for example.
On top of that, because of Instagram’s constant algorithm changes (can we all just roll our eyes in unison), some do not see my posts until days later. I love how @moms.can.be.fit, who is a Certified Health Coach on Instagram puts it, “…it’s the educational, the recipes that are shared, the inspirational messages that give you the recipe needed to GET to your own before and after”. How true!
So here’s what I’m planning to do as I move forward…
While generic info. is all over the Internet, taking care of your natural hair is different. In order to get the best results, you have to trust the source and know that they understand exactly what natural hair needs.
As a natural hair blogger, it’s my passion to share with you everything you need to know about not just wearing natural hair, but feeling confident and amazing when you do. Your natural hair is one of your best assets.
Unfortunately, so many women do everything they can to fight it or just don’t know how to care for it. And, I was one of them. Or, they may not be interested in wearing their hair in its natural state, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Not one bit.
But, keeping it healthy and looking great in its natural state is possible.
You just have to know the real insider secrets (which really aren’t secrets because I spill everything).
And that’s exactly where I come in. Thanks to my growing audience of loyal followers, I’m launching this website to help you better find the information you’re looking for when you need it.
As your healthy hair advocate and adviser, you can use this site as your go-to, all-in-one stop to get the tips and advice you need.
Just to make sure you don’t miss out on my latest posts, enter your email on this page to sign up and receive notifications directly to your inbox.
This isn’t just a website, it’s a way to find your community.
So whether you’re transitioning to natural hair or have been wearing it for years, I promise you’ll love what you find here. Enjoying your natural hair does take work, but I’m here to help you every step of the way.

“I was so excited to embrace my curls and take better care of them. As I started to dive in, I immediately became overwhelmed with the information.”
I read books and tried doing things because "that's what I'm supposed to do," but it didn't always work and I didn't understand why. I'm so grateful for Verna and her blog. Her info. actually helped me understand more of the science of why some methods helped and what products or ingredients to use and why. Anyone that compliments my hair and wants to start a curly journey, I tell them to start here. My hair is so much healthier and I'm so happy with it.
